Why am I involved with the Arul Trust? – Today: Chamber Singer Wilfried Staber

The second chairman of the Arul Trust eV support association, Christian Sych, was in conversation with association member Wilfried Staber from Leimen.

Chamber singer Wilfried Staber has become particularly well-known in the region for his engagement as a bass singer with the Heidelberg City Theater and Orchestra. Born in Austria, he has lived with his family in Leimen since 2009. His wife, Nicole, is the director of the Leimen Music School; his children, Anselm and Emilia, are altar boys in the Catholic parish of the Sacred Heart.

When asked why Wilfried Staber is involved with the Arul Trust eV, he answers very clearly: "I greatly respect Arul Lourdu; as a person, as a pastor, as a priest. I find Arul Lourdu's passionate commitment here in Leimen and the surrounding area, as well as his dedication to the poor in his former homeland of India, to be tremendous. It is truly a "luxury" to have someone like Arul Lourdu who, with his personal integrity and local knowledge, can provide help directly to those in need."

Wilfried Staber would be pleased if his example could inspire other people to support the association’s goals.
