1st Summer Festival of the Arul Trust eV Support Association

Promptly at 3:00 p.m. on July 1, 2023, the first guests arrived for the Arul Trust eV summer festival in the rectory garden in Leimen. They were eagerly awaited by the association's first and second chairmen, Pastor Arul Lourdu and Pastor (ret.) Manfred Weida. In glorious weather and a relaxed atmosphere, members and non-members enjoyed a cozy get-together. Guests enjoyed all kinds of cool drinks and delicious food from a professional chef (Mr. Kurti), especially his salads and delicious pasta. Homemade waffles with various side dishes were popular in the summer temperatures—especially among the children in attendance, or as a sweet treat with coffee.

A raffle with a guaranteed prize in every ticket pack provided excitement and some unexpected surprises. A specially prepared children's program also provided entertainment, making the time fly by. A total of 60 guests ensured a lively turnout and made the summer festival a resounding success. Since Mr. Laier generously provided the drinks and Mr. Kurti cooked for free, even paying for all the necessary ingredients out of his own pocket, all the proceeds went directly to the association and its social projects in India. Visitors could learn more about the association's successfully completed projects from the picture panels displayed on site.
