1st Summer Festival of the Arul Trust Support Association

Right on time at 3:00 p.m. on July 1, 2023, the first guests arrived at the Arul Trust e.V. summer festival in the parish garden in Leimen. They were warmly welcomed by the association's first and second chairpersons, Father Arul Lourdu and Father (retired) Manfred Weida. In glorious weather and a relaxed atmosphere, members and non-members alike enjoyed the convivial gathering. They refreshed themselves with a variety of cool drinks and delicious food prepared by a professional chef (Mr. Kurti), especially his salads and delectable pasta. Homemade waffles with various toppings were a big hit in the summer heat – particularly with the children present or as a sweet treat with coffee.

A raffle with a guaranteed prize in every pack of tickets provided excitement and unexpected surprises. A specially prepared children's program also kept everyone entertained, and the time flew by. A total of 60 guests ensured a lively turnout and made the summer festival a great success. Since Mr. Laier generously provided the drinks and Mr. Kurti cooked free of charge and even paid for all the necessary ingredients out of his own pocket, the entire proceeds went directly to the association and its social projects in India. Information about the association's already successfully implemented projects was available on display boards.
